Chapter 8-3: When Angels Fall

Check the Gate of the Gods n the lobby of Hu'Xzoi. You wil now be ableto go through to Ru'Hmet.
You'll get a cutscene upon zoning in.

Part 1:
There are five towers around the outside of Ru'Hmet.
Each tower corresponds to a specific race / light.


You only have to climb the tower(s) that correspond to the Light(s) you need.
Hume: Vahzl
Elvaan: Mea
Tarutaru: Holla
Mithra: Dem
Galka: Al'Taieu
If your entire party is Elvaan, then you only need the Light of Mea.

Each tower has four floors, and navigating your way through is basically the same as in Hu'Xzoi.
Once on the forth floor check an Ebon Panel, you'll get a cutscene.
Note: Any race will get a CS, whether it's from your correct tower or not.

After the CS check it again and it'll either be unresponsive or you'll get the option to use your mysterious amulet.

Do this until you have climbed all the towers that correspond to each race in your party.

Part 2:
Now that everyone has gotten their tower finished, you need to make your way to the center of the Garden.

You will have to pass a "gauntlet" of Qn'zdeis in the last room before the center. This consists of four Qn'zdeis (NM) that are sitting on a pressure plate around the outside of the room.

When they aggro you and move off the plates, the door closes and won’t open until they return to their starting positions.

Note: These Qn'zdeis are immune to sleep.

In order for the doorto be open, all the Qn'zdeis must be alive and on their pedestals

Methods on getting past:

1) Kill them. Go over to exit door, and wait for repop. (about 5 minutes on repop)
2) Try and sneak by. It'spossible to get across the room by hugging the side with the slow-spinning Qn'zdeis on, moving only when they're not looking.
3) Put up Reraise, run across and die by the door. Once the Qn'zdeis move back to their positions, Reraise and Raise the rest of the group.

Get on the elevator and take it on up.
A quasilumin here will tell you, in order to be allowed access up to the third floor, you need to get two key items a Brand of Dawn and Brand of Twilight

Brand of Dawn is due north of the elevator (H-7). Brand of Twilight is due south (H-10). Navigate your way through the hallways and use the vortexes to teleport around.
Note: Vortexes act as zones so if you have aggro, just run to one of them.


Now go up to the top floor of the Garden of Ru’Hmet.
Check the gate for a cutscene and enter the battlefield when ready.

The BCNM

This fight is made up for four Xi’zeid NM's, much like the "gauntlet" in part 2.
The two larger, closer ones are RDMs.
The two smaller, farther ones are BLMs.
They are all immune to silence, and are very resistant to sleep, unless Elemental Seal is used


Start off fighting one of the BLM pots.
When the pots gets low on life they may try to flee back to its starting pedestal. If it makes it back it will regenerate to full life within a few seconds. If they start to head back, do whatever you can to stop it.

Try and kill the two BLM off before you wipe.
If you do wipe, wipe at the far door at the end of the room near the BLM pots.
Wait for the pots to go back to their starting pedestals, then reraise, rest, and take the others out.
Note: pots only regen life if they flee in battle.

Once you defeat the pots check the "Luminous Convergence" for a CS.




Exit out to Al'Taieu for another CS
