:: Chapter 6: Echoes of Time ::

Chapter 6-4: One to be Feared
Head over to Sealion's Den in safehold after talking to Cid. You will get a (long) CS.
Chains of Promathia : Chapter 6.4 Cop64a

This is an Airship BC - Level 60 capped.
There is 3 consecutive boss fights with interval rest in between.
1) Mammet-22zeta x5
2) Omega Weapon
3) Ultima Weapon

Time limit is 45min (including cutscene time).

Alot of people that have done this will tell you NIN tank, but it is doable with a PLD, they just need change gear to an evasion setup.
So what would be a good setup you ask?
NIN WHM BRD ( mambo + elegy <3 ) and your extras: BLM or RNG x2 and a melee.
If you take RNG have them use stun bullets.

Get supplies ready
Like any good BC fight youlll need to stock up on items for the fight.
- Everyone should bring along some type a reraise item; Hi-Reraiser, Reraise Gorget/Hairpin, and some hi-potions.
- Melee should grab an Icarus wing and some attack or accuracy food.
- Mages should bring 5-10 yag drinks and some hi-ethers. Also having MP gear on hand would be nice so your able to cast ancient magic while weakened.

Touching the iron gate for an option to enter the BC "the one to be feared".

Between each battle your HP and MP will be healed to full (anyone dead will stay dead).

After the CS you will be in a room, touching the airship door will give you 3 options:
"Continue to deck" (enter first part of bc)
"Go back to taznavia" (running away from bc)
"Nothing"

Because time is a factor, have everyone view the first cutscene then exit the BC but not leave the Sealion’s Den again. When you enter again you will bypass the first cutscene, which will save you about 5 minutes. If you leave the Den you will get the cutscene again when you reenter the BC.

Note: If one party member hits "continue to deck" ALL members will be immediatley get a cs and enter the actual bc.

Part 1: Mammet-22zeta x5
Chains of Promathia : Chapter 6.4 Cop64b

Each mammet you kill drops 1-2 Yellow Liquids, this will hold the mammet on their current job for a minute or so, not forever. Try to lock them on a melee job.

The Mammets can change to one of four jobs.
- Mages with staves cast high-level black magic.
- Warriors have swords.
- Dragoons have forks.
- Unarmed heal life from physical hits.

The battlefield is small this time, so kiting might not work as well but can be done. Shadowbind and Bind are great and silence lands easily. Gravity and Sleep do not work.
They use Transmogrify, so keep an eye out and immediately stop doing any physical damage if the mammet uses it.
Save your 2-hours and meds for the battles ahead.

After you defeat them you will get a CS.
Rest up and buff it necessary. When you're ready click the door.

If you have 35+ minutes remaining, then your in good shape.

Part 2: Omega Weapon
Chains of Promathia : Chapter 6.4 Cop64c

Omega has alot of HP, directional AoE movies, and at 20% goes nuts.

Make sure to have your tank face Omega AWAY from the party.
When omega is low on life, you'll want to watch out for Pile Pitch. This is alot like the Tonberry's Throat Stab, and is posable to run out of range when he does this.
At 20% he will start to go crazy and spamming hate reset moves and otheres. A CCB Polymer Pump is a good idea here and will stun him for 30 sec. Don't use all of them on him, because you'll need some for the next battle.
Fight Omega where you start the battle, with mages (and rangers if you have them) near the airship door. If something goes wrong, try and have everyone wipe where you first start out at (where the tank probably died). Omega will return to the airship door, so if your far away and you reraise, rest and finish him off.

Note: Because he goes nuts with low HP, a good idea would be to have a BLM Elemental Seal and cast an Ancient Magic.

If you have 18+ minutes remaining, then your in realy good shape.

After you win, you will get a CS. Rest up and buff it necessary. When you're ready click the door.

Part 3: Ultima Weapon
Chains of Promathia : Chapter 6.4 Cop64d

Ultima likes to spam paralyze, slow and petrification, so a WHM is pritty much a must!
Use the same basic strategy as Omega. Tank where you spawn with mages and ranged ont he other side. Wipe where you spawn so you can reraise if needed.

After you wear him down he will start to use a AoE move called Equalizer.
Once you see him start to do this, its time to finish him off. Toss a CCB to slow him down and start to 2-hour.

Ultima has about 17000 HP, and a Elemental Seal Flare will do about 850 points of damage.

After you win, guess what... another CS, and end up in Lufaise Meadows, and start Ch 7
Pick the option to "check what the tarus have" to get the Ducal Guard's Ring. This warps you to Ru'Lude Gardens. (5 charges, not rechargable)

Remeber to keep track of your time, and good luck.
