Chapter 7-4: Calm Before the Storm
Off to Metalworks to talk to Cid, you will get another cutscene.
You can do the following in any order

Misareaux Coast: Check the "Storage Compartment" on the broken down shed near the gate to Riverne, a NM bugard will spawn.
Defeat it and check the spot again, you till obtain the key item Vessel of light

NM Notes: He hits hard but very slow. Has attack that will remove food effect.


Bibiki Bay: Check the ??? in that little cave in the far northwest corner of the map, a NM sea monk will spawn.
Defeat it and check the spot again.

NM Notes: He hits fast but misses very consistently. Uses Hundred Fists, but still likes to miss. Has sea monk attacks for AOE water damage and stat-downs.


Carpenter's Landing: Check the ??? at northern corner of the eastern Carpenters entrance at I-9 (enter from Jugner Forest), a NM cryptonberry (NIN) will spawn, and will summon three more NM cryptonberries (BLM, SMN, and THF).
Defeat it and check the spot again.

NM Notes: All can use 2-hours. None of them have much HP, so they'll die pretty quickly. Are sleepable with Sleepga, but not easy.


Return to Cid for another cutscene, and Obtain key item: Letters from Ulmia and Prishe.
